Get tickets for DGTL 2024

Running from Friday night right through to Monday morning with a programme bursting with local and international electronic talent, it’s a go-to for the long Easter weekend.

Since 2013, DGTL has become a perfect example of what happens when organisers listen closely to what the partiers want – and give back something even better.

Though the annual lineup is always staggering (with this year being no different), for DGTL, music is just one pillar of the festival. Art, sustainability and responsibility are also considered huge priorities.

…and, it’s probably that pioneering approach that’s led DGTL to not only dominate in the NL festivals scene, but to spread its influence way beyond the local scene, with DGTL editions in New York, Los Angeles, Santiago, São Paulo, Guadalajara, New Delhi, and Mumbai.

We’ve already raved about DGTL’s massive lineup in our guide to the top techno festivals in 2024, because there are a fair number of techno heavyweights making an appearance (think Ki/Ki, LSDXOXO, think Freddy K, ARTBAT, KOBOSIL and some exclusive b2b sets (more on that below). But just in case you want to hear about the highlights awaiting at DGTL 2024, plus a rundown of why it’s definitely one for your bucket list this year, read on.

Heads up - DGTL’s Early Bird and regular tickets are now totally sold out. So, act fast if you’re planning to head down, and grab your tickets below.

6 reasons to go to DGTL festival

Reason 1. Rare sets, exclusive b2bs and live shows

Scroll to the bottom for a full rundown of 48 hours in DGTL heaven, but honorary mentions go to: special b2b sets between Âme & Dixon and Blawan & Freddy K; LSDXOXO’s first boiler room set in five years, a live show from WhoMadeWho (DGTL USA 2023 headliners). Other highlights include sets from Sofia Kourtesis, Coco Coquelicot, Ki/Ki and Femme Bass Mafia honcho DJ Fuckoff.

Reason 2. No need to take time off work

Here's a thought: a festival that slots perfectly into your calendar without the need to take days off. Quite ingeniously, DGTL takes place over the Easter long weekend for maximum guilt-free dancing ‘til the early morn. We’ll go ahead and say it: Easter weekend just isn’t Easter weekend without DGTL.

Reason 3. Sustainability bragging rights

DGTL is a pioneer when it comes to sustainability in the festival scene. How many festivals can say they’ve got a track-record of over a decade’s experimentation in the field?

All the way back in 2014, DGTL was already reusing old construction materials. Over the next few years it introduced initiatives like hard cups, onsite waste recycling, before going on to be regularly awarded impressive green accolades like ‘Amsterdam’s most innovative and sustainable organisation’ and, in 2019, receiving the award of ‘Most sustainable festival in the world’ (A Greener Festival).

Two years ago, it became a fully circular festival. They recycle their materials “at the highest possible value”. They reduce use of freshwater by crazily cool things like using water sources from the neighboring river for sanitation (removing 3KG of carbon from every toilet flush), and even converting wastewater into reusable water to reduce the waste of drinkable water. DGTL also sticks to food waste prevention measures, gets all energy from renewable sources, and eliminates greenhouse gas emissions from transportation.

Reason 4. Social responsibility & inclusivity

In a world screaming for inclusivity, DGTL amplifies the call. It's not just about the music or the incredible visuals – it's about creating a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and, most importantly, safe. Take DGTL’s own Awareness Crew (you’ll spot them by their jealousy-inducing pastel bodywarmers), who roam the festival site to safeguard partiers and work with DGTL’s security team. There’s the DGTL Safe(r) project, a call to all attendees to agree to their part in making the festival grounds safer for everyone – free from harassment, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and sexism.

What’s more, DGTL regularly shares educational resources and advice with partiers to foster a consent culture and responsible, safe celebration that’s free from peer pressure and unnecessary risk-taking.

Reason 5. Stunning location = excellent photos

We can’t sing the praises of DGTL without a nod to the spot where the DGTL magic happens: the achingly cool industrial surroundings of NDSM.

Disconnect from the central Amsterdam buzz as a short ferry ride brings you across the waters to one of the city’s most atmospheric festival locations. And that’s before we even get on to the installations and artwork you’ll see dotted around, plus the festivals’ unique approach to staging, light shows and chill-out areas.

DGTL Amsterdam 2024 takes place Mar 29 – 31 at NDSM Warehouse.

Reason 6. A genuinely enormous programme

We’ve already run you through the highlights of the full DGTL programme which runs from Friday night (featuring Bonobo, Coco Coquelicot, DJ Koze, Maribou State (DJ set) and Sofia Kourtesis (DJ set), through Saturday and Sunday and into the early hours..

But don’t take our word for it; take a look at the stage breakdowns for yourself. The only problem now is figuring out how to catch, er… literally everyone on the programme…
