Slam poetry exhibice – ČB vs. Plzeň – Horká vana

The revival of the České Budějovice slam poetry scene after its winter hibernation will take the form of an extensive exhibition plunge into the Hoooooot Tub. Will the South Bohemian team withstand the invasion from West Bohemia? The audience is invited to come and see, come and experience it — and above all, to come and decide the winner or winners.

“Slam whaaat?”

One after another, masters of words step onto the stage, ready to fight for victory down to the very last rhyme in a nerve-racking contest. The audience allows itself to be captivated, amused, moved to tears or deeply touched — yet at the slightest hint of a mistake or banality, it can just as mercilessly boo the performer.

There can be only one winner. And the decision lies with the jury made up of the audience.

• Holka postavená na hlavu (Czech National Championship finalist 2025, a scouting poet under the Hippocratic oath)
• Monolog (two-time Czech National Championship finalist, a verbal rapid-fire representative of the Pilsen scouting slam school)

Host and opening act:

• Anatol Svahilec (Czech Slam Poetry Champion 2014, genre mascot, the “Uncle Jedlička” of Czech slam poetry)
